Green fare surprises lucky customers
Christchurch Tegel Chicken staff enjoyed a little Irish flair, fun and flavour at its cafeteria, thanks to the efforts of Compass Group New Zealand’s creative cookery to celebrate St Patrick’s Day this year.
“We made a variety of ‘green’ foods including meringues, green scones and green muffins. It was a lot of fun – our customers always enjoy theme days,” says Compass Group New Zealand Site Manager Louis De Lange, adding that the team sold out on the day to more than 400 customers.
“Food is a great way to connect with people and when we’re able to do that through a fun, theme people really get into it. Our people worked hard to make the different foods so it was very rewarding getting such a great response.”
